Transformer Riddle No. 10 – Power saving through reduced voltage

      Transformer No1 is having Primary tapping for 11275V and at secondary 445V v getting. Similarly Transformer No 2 tapping position is at 10725V and at Secondary 415V v getting.

      Well when v change tapping of TR No 1 also to 10725V (like Tr No2 ….) how to calculate power saving from reduced voltage…. lets say Tr No 1 load 900KW.

            If you have a AC and the voltage is less , it wil draw more current . So , I do not see how a red. in voltrage will save power !
