Please let me know for the same load cycle of both Lead Acid Plante Type Batteries and Ni-Cad Battery, what will be the capacity in AH of NICad Battery in relation (in percentage) to AH capacity of Plante Battery.

If NiCd cells are used, manufacturers publish rates for discharge times less than 1 min. Since these rates exist, assumptions can be made that will enable a number of profiles to be developed that may lead to a reduction in battery size, while still being able to support the load requirements. For example, one could assume all loads occur simultaneously for 1s, followed by control and miscellaneous loads for another 29s, followed by control load for 30s. It can similarly be reasoned that the control load could occur for 30 s, followed by control and miscellaneous loads for 1s.
