      What happens when ct secondary gets open while selecting through ampere meter selector switch for metering function why dont it get burst/burn when secondary is open momentarally?

        The changeover switch which used in current transformers circuits shall be “make-before-break” type. This type of switches has a spring loaded action which prevents momentarily circuit disconnection.

          Using Rotary Switch as selector switch,Your CT ckt won’t be open.If switch has go problem ,then CT load is propotional to flux passing through it and hence amount of voltage generated in seondary . IF CT is sparsely loaded ,It takes time and monmentarly opening of CT causes Sound practically and do not bast it:)
