      When an OLTC is mounted accidentally in such a way that the tap position (say 4)indicated on top of OLTC do not match with that(say 3) shown in the motor drive when operated manually or automatically by AVR if the maximum tap is surpassed will the tap changer become defective or there are safety mechanisms at either end(min and max taps) to prevent damage?.
